Hello: tried emailing, but I must have the wrong address-keep getting the emails returned (sigh). I purchased the eggs and pomegranate videos and tried downloading, but got cut off twice. I used a computer with WiFi and perhaps the connection was bad, but I couldn't return to the download page to try again (got a message saying the page couldn'e be displayed). Would it be possible to send me the links for both videos directly? Accessing the video by the link you emailed worked when I had trouble downloading clementines. email is LaurRdfr@aol.com. I will be happy to send you my PayPal purchase numbers if you need them. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for all of you effort and your assistance:-)
ReplyDeleteHi, I just emailed you the links! HOpe it works........
ReplyDeleteI am having major problems with your download, causes my windows system to crash when ever I try to play it. I used the store download link, never received any download link or email from you.
ReplyDeleteVery , very unsatisfied and frustrated.... let me know how to resolve this problem.
hello Jim. Sorry that it didn't work out, but luckily I'm here to assist ! The mail was sent to the wrong address for some reason (automatic). I just sent it manually, let me know if you don't get it.
ReplyDeleteThe movie is just a normal avi, should be no trouble. Please check you have the entire file, (1.2G) or use a download manager to be shure you get the entire file (see www.flashgot.net)
Not shure what player you are using, but VLC Player is recommended, see
http://www.videolan.org/index.html
hope this helps, if not, then let me know....
Hi Jim, I just checked, there is a problem with the mail reply thing. I removed the remark on the blog about that. I need to look into this soon. For the time being, people need to use the 'back to store' link. (or send me a mail).. jos
ReplyDeleteI did finally get your video to play. I originally downloaded from the "back to store" link and downloaded again from your email link, but I do not think there was a file issue in either cases. Both took hours to download and were complete files.
ReplyDeleteThe issue is that none of my players, windows, realplayer, quicktime, or Picasa would play this video file, in fact trying to play it caused a crash.
I downloaded your recommended videolan player and it will play in that. ???
I really like your work, and think your YouTube videos are just fantastic.
And I will probably enjoy this demo and I would really like to have the Clementine demo too. But downloading one of your videos is on the same level of experiences as having your teeth drilled at the budget dentist office.

DeleteThnx for baring with me, Jim. Good to hear that it worked out well. Hmm I think I'd still prefer downloading the video above having my teeth drilled. It's a large file so a download manager is recommended. As for the player program crashes, maybe time to do a fresh windows install? That helps me all the time.. J.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI've downloaded it with a manager in a mac . It worked right, with no problem, with only 3 hours.
Thanks for your video Jos. It' s fantastic, and lets learnning a lots
Great to hear it worked ! J.

ReplyDeleteThanks,

hi William,
Deletethnx for your comment. I need to iron this out :-s... The link should be in your inbox now...............
Jos
I recently purchased the video and I can not play it with windows media. I tried downloading the recommended player and apparently no longer available. I do not understand, because if an avi file should be reproducible with windows media or tv.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big frustration. I love your painting and I would love to enjoy the performance of a work to complete. It seems that he will not be able to be at the moment.
I hope your help
Thanks and regards
Hi Ana,
Deletehmm that would be not so nice... I'll look into it and get back to you in a couple of hours.......
Jos
Hi Ana,
DeleteI looked at the site, it still seems to be there
http://www.umplayer.com/download/
Maybe it was down temporarily for maintenance....
Pls download from there...
Really amazing video!
ReplyDeleteHello Jos,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work and great tutorials...! I'd like to purchase one of those folding paint boxes that you can refrigerate as seen at the beginning of the eggs video. Did you make that or can I purchase somewhere? Thanks..and best to you..!
thnx! No, unfortunately I dont offer this for sale. I just built a single one from mdf and tape... Not that difficult. But to make a really stirdy one may be more difficult..
